Alla Galleria Marconi di Cupra Marittima proseguono gli appuntamenti della stagione 2010/2011. Domenica 24 ottobre alle 19.00 infatti si inaugura la collettiva La Gaia Età. La mostra che si avvale della cura e del testo critico di Renato Bianchini presenta l'esperienza di quattro giovani artisti catanesi raccolti intorno a Francesco Insinga, già noto presso lo spazio marchigiano. Gli artisti, che costituiscono il cast dell'esposizione, sono Roberto D'Alessandro, Marco Incardona, Francesco Insinga, Lidia Tropea, e Fabrizio Spucches.

L'artista Marco Incardona si avvale della collaborazione del performer Salvatore Di Gregorio.
La Gaia Età è organizzata in collaborazione con la Galleria White Project di Pescara ed è il secondo appuntamento della rassegna Troppo (la Galleria Marconi esagera).

“Il contesto paesaggistico etneo diventa lo sfondo di una realtà giovanile che fa da baricentro ad una iconografia dalla qualità compositiva classica e di gusto pittorico, pur se i linguaggi utilizzati dagli artisti sono derivanti da altre discipline.

Così fotografie, video e performances offrono una molteplicità di immagini che diventano rappresentazione di un meraviglioso scenario, di derivazione arcadica, che si porge gradevolmente allo sguardo degli spettatori.

In mostra le emozioni sono il modello principe dell'eloquente esaltazione della giovinezza, anche quando con la forza della modernizzazione tratta argomenti dell'attualità contemporanea raccontati attraverso le immagini della video arte con realismo e ironia per fare, in questo caso, da preludio al susseguirsi di fatti improvvisi”. Una nuova rassegna per il sedicesimo anno di attività, in una Galleria Marconi rinnovata nella forma ma fortemente radicata nella sostanza del proprio percorso di ricerca, già questo sembrerebbe Troppo. Ma non ci può bastare. La speranza è lavorare ancora con la coerenza, la testardaggine e la voglia di crescere, restando sempre al passo con i tempi, cogliendo idee e mutamenti della nostra epoca, e anche questo sembrerebbe Troppo. Non c’è arroganza, né immodestia, ma la rassegna 2010 2011 si intitola proprio Troppo (la Galleria Marconi esagera), perché in un mondo dove la crisi è presente e tocca purtroppo la vita di milioni di persone, dove tutti noi siamo sottoposti cuts and restrictions of fundamental rights, we felt the desire to spill over, not just physically.

La musica di James Blunt

Music has always been an important part in my life, like that of all beliefs. For each period or person keep a memory of music, be it a genre or song.
In this period the artist of my time is James Blunt. A little 'because I knew the two Italian dates of his tour for the release of new album "Some Kind of Trouble " (will be in Rome and Milan on March 13 14) a bit 'for the sweet and melancholy of his songs. The Genus Art Gallery of San Benedetto del Tronto, Saturday, October 16, 2010 and resumed his exhibitions presenting Between the folds of nature exhibition of Piero Gilardi , uno degli artisti italiani più importanti non solo nel panorama nazionale ma anche estero. La mostra alla galleria Genus offre una finestra su uno dei periodi creativi dell’artista, quello che negli anni ’60/’70 è stato caratterizzato dai Tappeti Natura .

Piero Gilardi ha fatto della ricerca artistica e della sperimentazione, una costante del suo lungo cammino nell’arte. Partendo dalla ricerca sui materiali, i Tappeti Natura sono realizzati infatti in poliuretano espanso, l’artista ha condotto una ricerca continua che non ha mai smesso di guardare alle nuove tecnologie, arrivando ad opere che integrano natura e informatica.
