Saturday, May 15th at 17:00 at the rooms of the Pinacoteca Podesti opens the section of Ancona Gemine Muse in 2010, by Dario Ciferri that presents the works of maicol and mirco and Gabriele Silvi. Ancona The event is organized by 'from' Youth Politics the Municipality of Ancona , in collaboration with the ' Regional Archives and the Young Artists ' Informagiovani of Ancona.
Gemine Muse in 2010, scheduled from May 15 to July 18 in 22 Italian cities, involving more than 120 talents and 30 in 19 exhibition curators and three popular trails in the historic centers of many places, and is included in the project ITALY CREATIVE , prepared by the Department of Youth - Presidency of the Council of Ministers in collaboration with the ' ANCI - National Association of Italian and GAI - Association for the Circuit of the Young Italian Artists.
A journey through the works, installations, sound works, performances video and able to charm every year over 200,000 visitors and create a close relationship between the world of museums, emerging writers, critics, practitioners and the public.
Now in its seventh year, the initiative has renewed its commitment to present new works of young artists through its direct relationship with the great masterpieces of the past and the architecture of the city.
Gemine Muse grows and develops a dialogue between contemporary and classic, asking artists to create a work inspired by this work in a museum. After finishing the work is installed close to the relative work, just to create the combination that is the origin of the project.
"In the design phase of the project it was decided to create a bridge between Ancona and the Piceno territory with the intention of making an ideal synthesis of art in the Marche, a region that can offer more plural many ideas and suggestions . Have been invited to exhibit as Gabriele Silvi and maicol and mirco. The project developed is called De Rerum Natura and put the focus of the proposed relationship to the surrounding environment, with time and with changes that man has caused to the planet.
maicol and mirco carry their gaze beyond the limits of Pala Gozzi, makes it through two paintings on either side of the work of Titian. The story opens with the contemporary to show the loss of man's relationship with nature. The artist shows us his typically different universe where the beautiful landscape of Titian is now corrupt. The matching is done without arrogance, but rather with the awareness that this world has now been lost.
Gabriele Silvi focuses on your installation of a ship carved at the entrance to the gallery. It is the work of an anonymous but also a font that reminds us of an ark. The ship is the installation
