Sudden Onset Dementia

Silvi Giovanni Manunta Pastorello

Sunday, May 2 at 18:00 the Galleria Marconi di Cupra Marittima has Gianni Manunta Pastorello solo show Pastorello, edited by Simonetta Angelini, who is also author of the critique.
After the success of staff Rocco Dubbini that ended the mini-cycle Marche Art Centre, the exhibition concludes the review of Shepherd I do not know and do not want to know .
Shepherd is one of the most important artists of the new panorama of Italian art, the core of his aesthetic and the painting itself poses clear, rich but restless.

"Marconi Gallery dedicated a staff with the same title Giovanni Manunta Shepherd. The nomen
that becomes the sign of a deviation of a shift of identity. Unexpected.
"The proper name is the odd verbal summary of uniqueness that is exposed to your question is to pay it without any further knowledge," writes the philosopher Adriana Cavarero in his essay "You look at me you tell me." The
I, declined in the third person, it becomes a question, a self-skinned metamorphic. Possible in the plural, narratable. Apart from the text. The identity is mobile, a work in progress. The pictorial works
Pastorello have an urge to abstrahere says the process of distillation, synthesis, concentration power.
nature, restless and pathological volumes has tubular structure. It 's a female daimon. Unpredictable, liar. The random variable. Within a changing reality
chemistry, acid dissolution and synthetic, dusty consistency almost Lucretius. " (Simonetta Angelini)

I do not know and do not want to know is not just an answer, is also a provocation, an attitude and basically a form of agnosticism, which in the case of art could be called cultural. It is a way to face the great questions of humanity: where we come from? Where are we going? Why the pain? Why baked potatoes are never enough?
A response is often convenient, sometimes shocking, which expresses the will of ignorance that is very far from the Socratic that the real test is the one who knows he does not know. There is not any knowledge, no curiosity, only detachment and indifference. Often before a
art proposal and makes this sentence is a bit 'wrong. Who says it may seem a bit 'out of time, but he really is often a majority, not too quiet.
would now be legitimate answer to the question: why such a title for a program of exhibitions?
The answer is in the title.

Naturacultura was born from the Municipal Administration to open new paths to Cupra cultural growth, integrating and making them cooperate with each other to make reality more and more alive and vital to the country reality, even in times of the year would not normally rate of tourism. The Administration to carry out this operation has chosen to use the premises for future municipal offices, to open the country before they become the interface between the state and the citizen. The project was developed under the influence and supervision 's Head of Culture Luciano Bruni who has pledged to bring it to converge on it the different energies involved.

Naturacultura is a project that focuses on one of the more arguments heard in the contemporary art scene, especially in recent years, the relationship, in fact, between Nature and Culture. Nature must not and can not be considered only in terms of botanical or decorative. Looking at the works on display reveal a crisis situation, a departure that burns like a wound. The human being must once again be aware that it is part of nature, not outside it or above, can neither control nor change it or end up destroying it.

Naturacultura, throughout its duration, will be accompanied by a series of events that will enliven the weekend citizens

Gay Glory Holes California

I see the earth below

I see the earth below

before me

the towel on the rocks sea

the metal bar

the sound of seagulls

mingles with the smell that rises from the whiskers

between the bricks are long days

only the sun the wind the salt

to accept my days

only a sense of remembrance

gunpowder

and then a slow drift towards another go

other whiskers other places other seas

I see the ocean the day walking the bridge never

long enough to satisfy the concerns

think the threads to the fabrics to the colors

think the guns

the bread crumbs on the floor

every ant I see a steal

a bang and then everything is gone

mustache were even there

and also there was a widow

not the first not the last

it is only a minute and everything changes

speeches anger

a gate that closes a gate and now

too far to be able to reopen

it was just a shot

but at that moment it seemed the hand of God

have said so many things

words are so many beautiful and often empty round

the body was on the ground and it was not my

mustache were white

blood was the same as other times

but there are those who swear it was blue

and then the smell of dust and sweat closed sea \u200b\u200b

a towel to a bar and under

I hung

and I am so strange to see me with the sea behind

and an ocean that I can no longer cross
